Nestled amongst the majestic granite mountains of Nyanga in the Eastern Highlands of Zimbabwe, Rhapsody Retreat offers a peaceful and supportive space for those wishing to embrace recovery, whether from addiction or emotional troubles. Our program follows the Twelve Steps as outlined in the Big Book of Alchoholics Anonymous. We have found the program is resonant even if someone does not have an active substance dependency. We share from our own experience what our lives were like, all the methods we tried that failed, and how we eventually found the path to recovery through following the spiritual principles of the Twelve Steps. If you want what we have – a joyful and fulfilling sobriety, a life that has meaning and purpose, a new beginning – we can show you the way.
Rhapsody Retreat is not a rehab, nor a lock down facility. Clients come here of their own free will and are free to leave at any time. We are not attached to any clinical facility, nor are we qualified to address mental health issues that require psychiatric care. We are people who are working a program of recovery that has been of enormous personal benefit and in terms of Step 12 we are committed to passing this on to those who are still suffering.
