What we offer at Rhapsody

Going on a retreat is about escaping the strains of everyday life and taking the time to focus on yourself. Offering the opportunity to reflect and learn healthier lifestyle practices, retreats aim to heal the part of you that is most in need.
Rhapsody offers a refuge to regain yourself, regain control of your life and

discover things about yourself you never knew.

Whilst retreats are becoming more and more an essential remedy to modern living, the act of withdrawing on a retreat to find inner-peace is not a new one. Just like us today, for centuries men and women have shown the need to draw away in search of an improved sense of self.
A retreat is essentially time away from your busy everyday life, whether you need a break from work or the children, or are recovering from a break-up or a personal loss.
Whether battling substance dependency, emotional stress or self-doubt over your path in life, by removing yourself from your current situation, a retreat at Rhapsody gives you the opportunity to change your outlook and how you deal with your struggles.

At Rhapsody, you are given the opportunity to confront those difficulties in life which you can no longer postpone or evade, to turn and face your fears, but in a deeply supportive, nourishing and safe space – you don’t do it alone. Each retreat is unique and personal to you. Whether through guided one-on-one sessions, group discussions, time out for reflection and deep inner work, early morning ice water plunges, or simply resting in silence, meditation and prayer, at Rhapsody you will be given the tools you need to help you overcome your obstacles.

However, it is equally important to simply be at one with the beautiful natural environment and there are many activities available in the area such as:
  • Hiking in the awe-inspiring, sacred mountains that surround Rhapsody.
  • Exploring the caves and ancient artifacts on nearby Punch Rock (additional accommodation in delightful chalets is also available here for larger groups).
  • Visiting our local coffee shop Froggy Farm.
  • Swimming in the rivers and natural pools.
  • Visiting the museum at Rhodes Hotel.
  • Visiting Montclair Hotel for golf, horse riding, and fly fishing.
  • Visiting the dairy.
  • Doing the Zipline and Skywalk at Mtarazi falls.
